Courtney Brendal is a medical illustrator who is passionate about making the complexities of science and medicine crystal clear for all audiences. She’s eager to paint the “big picture” that patients and the public need to make informed decisions about their health, as well as navigating students and scientists through complex subject matter.

Courtney received her Master of Arts from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine’s Medical and Biological Illustration graduate program. She is currently a medical illustrator and faculty member with the Center for Biomedical Visualization at St. George’s University (SGU) in Grenada.
